Ice in motion can crush mountains, this frozen hammer is no different.

The Sibear is a large hammer featuring a head composed entirely of  Cryotic that deals  Cold damage on attacks. Performing a heavy attack increases its Status Chance considerably, making it ideal for inflicting status effects on enemies.

    Characteristics[edit | edit source]

    • This weapon deals primarily  Cold damage.
    • Attacks have a chance to inflict an area of effect  Cold proc.
    • Heavy Attacks grant a flat +50% status chance bonus to all attacks with the Sibear for 4 seconds.
    • Stance has a polarity, matches  Crushing Ruin.
    • Innate polarity.

Advantages over other Melee weapons (excluding modular weapons):

    • Normal Attack (wiki attack index 1)
      • High total damage (270)
      • Above average attack range (2.60 m)
      • Above average status chance (30.00%)
      • Above average disposition (●●●●● (1.35x))

Disadvantages over other Melee weapons (excluding modular weapons):

    • Normal Attack (wiki attack index 1)
      • Low crit chance (15.00%)

See WARFRAME Wiki:Stat Comparison/Percentiles for more details.

    Notes[edit | edit source]

    • On a heavy attack, and for any following attacks made within 4 seconds of the heavy attack, the Sibear's modded status chance will be additively increased by 50%. Unmodded, this bonus will result in an 80% status chance for 4 seconds.
      • With a single 60/60 installed ( Volcanic Edge,  Vicious Frost,  Voltaic Strike, or  Virulent Scourge), the Sibear will have a: 30% × (1 + 60%) + 50% = 98% status chance.
    • The Sibear is currently the most expensive item in-game in regards to  Cryotic requirements for construction, needing 30,000 Cryotic to build.
      • As the player can only obtain 100 cryotic (without resources boosters) in Excavation (the only mission where it's guarenteed to drop), a player would need to complete 300 excavations in order to obtain the amount required to build Sibear. Due to each excavator taking 100 seconds to complete, it would take over 8 hours and 20 minutes to farm it all
      • It is also the second most expensive item for  Alloy Plates, requiring 50,000.
    • Slam attacks release a small ice spike from the ground.

    Incarnon Genesis[edit | edit source]

    • Upon completion of The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman, and unlocking The Steel Path, players can earn  Sibear Incarnon Genesis from The Circuit's Steel Path to place on their Sibear with the help of Cavalero in the Chrysalith. This Incarnon Genesis form grants it evolutions to a transformation and newfound strength.

    Evolution[edit | edit source]

    • Installing the Sibear Incarnon Genesis requires 20  Pathos Clamps, 70  Dracroot, and 80  Connla Sprouts.
    • When installed, the first Evolution tier is unlocked. The following Evolution tiers, their requirements for unlocking them, and their related perks, are shown below;

    Evolution I[edit | edit source]

    • Reach 6x Combo and then Heavy Attack to activate Incarnon Form.
    • Incarnon Form creates a Cold Blast Radius with Heavy Slams.
      • Creates a slowing field over the radius of the slam for 4 seconds.
      • +100% Melee Damage
      • +50% Heavy Attack Wind Up Speed
      • +10% Sprint Speed

    Trivia[edit | edit source]

    • Sibear is most likely a corruption of Siberia, a region in Russia known for its low temperatures, si and bears.
    • Sibear was the first melee weapon to deal pure  Cold damage.
    • It is also the first hammer whose components derive from another hammer to build.
    • The ice spikes on the Sibear's head will temporarily grow when performing a charge attack or a jump attack from a significant height.

    Bugs[edit | edit source]

    • Adding a combined element (that leaves the innate cold damage) may remove the shimmering cold effect on the coils, despite there being  Cold damage on the weapon. This bug is inconsistent and may not appear for some people. Video Proof
