Kyta Raknoid is a yellow medium-sized Raknoid creature found in the Orb Vallis that only spawns at Alert Level 4 via Reinforcement Beacons.

Behavior Edit

  • Kyta Raknoids possess two main attacks:
    • Rapid Fire Turret: The Kyta Raknoid has turret on the top of its body that fires projectiles that deal 8  Electricity damage at base.
    • Leg Swipe: The Kyta Raknoid swipes its leg and launches a projectile that deals 25  Electricity damage at base and hits twice.
  • Possesses several special attacks
    • Electric Mesh: Spawns a mesh on the ground that deals  Electricity damage with 100% status chance and staggers everything in its vicinity.
    • Radial Laser: Emits several radial laser attacks from its top disk in a manner similar to  Revenant's  Danse Macabre. Each laser does high  Magnetic damage with 100% status chance.
    • Teleportation: The Kyta Raknoid becomes invulnerable and invisible, then teleports to a nearby location, where it charges an explosive projectile. While charging, it will show a targeting laser.
    • Overcharge: Once its shields have been depleted by a significant amount, the Kyta Raknoid will slam the ground and overcharge its shields, giving itself +200% of its maximum shields as Overshields. While the Kyta Raknoid has overshields, its attacks are boosted.
      • Its turret now fires faster projectiles with mild homing, which deal 12  Electricity damage with an explosive component that deals 4  Electricity damage.
      • Its leg swipe now deals 50  Electricity damage, with a guaranteed  Electricity proc.

Notes Edit

  • A Kyta Raknoid's shields possess 25% Damage Reduction.
  • Its head hitbox is the disc on the top of its body.
  • Immune to  Viral,  Magnetic, and  Impact procs.

Tips Edit

  •  Arcane Nullifier can help with the  Magnetic procs.

Trivia Edit

  • Prior to Update 25.7 (2019-08-29), neither  Toxin damage nor its status effect would bypass its shields as with other Corpus units, instead dealing damage to the shields, which made a pure toxin weapon build less effective on it than on other Corpus enemies.

  • Kyta Raknoid are now resistant to Abilities rather than immune (still have immunity to Limbo Stasis and Mag Pull). Slash Bleed and Toxin Poison Status Effect will bypass Shields on the Kyta Raknoid.
